3. 搜尋條件選擇鈕

可以「詞目」、「音讀」、「釋義」、「對應國語」四種條件擇一進行搜尋，各項功能分述如下：

甲、 詞目。即以詞目為搜尋對象，例如，輸入「食」，可找出「食」或「食飯」等資料。

乙、 音讀。以客語拼音為搜尋對象，例如，輸入「tai55」，可找出「大」或「放大」等資料。因客家語的「大」字，四縣音正是「tai55」，「放大」的四縣音是「biong55tai55」。試用版之音讀搜尋範圍包括四縣音及海陸音。

丙、 釋義。以釋義內容為搜尋對象，例如，輸入「植物」，可找出「包心菜」、「油桐花」等資料；此搜尋條件僅能用於廣義搜尋。

丁、 對應國語。以客家語對應之國語義為搜尋對象，例如，輸入「你們」，可找出「你兜」、「你等」等資料。而客家語的「你兜」、「你等」正是國語裡「你們」的意思。

4. 搜尋方式選擇鈕。

有二種搜尋方式，分述如下：

甲、 精確查詢：查詢條件與查詢結果完全一樣。比方說以詞目為條件，輸入「食」字查詢，就只會查到「食」這個字。「音讀」與「對應國語」亦同上。唯「釋義」之件條無法使用本方式搜尋。

乙、 廣義查詢：查詢件條僅為查詢結果之一部分。比方以中文字為條件，輸入「食」字查詢，能查到包含「食」字的資料，如「食」、「扁食」、「打淨食」、「狗食糯米－無變」等資料。「對應國語」的搜尋性質亦同。唯「釋義」的搜尋方式只適用此「廣義查詢」。

5. 「開始搜尋」鈕。

輸入查詢的文字或音標，也選妥了查詢條件與方式，點選此鈕即可開始進行查詢工作。

6. 小鍵盤之下拉式選單。

供無繁體中文作業系統使用者輸入搜尋條件。有「注音」、「倉頡」及「客語」三種小鍵盤供選擇。

7. 查詢結果列表每頁顯示筆數。

即使用者可自行設定查詢結果畫面每頁呈現之筆數。系統設定共有四種顯示筆數。例：如設定20筆，而查詢結果之總筆數為200筆，則查詢結果畫面每頁呈現20筆，共有10頁。

8. 音標顯示方式選單。

使用者可指定音標以「調值」或「調號」之顯示方式。

9. 本系統相關訊息及其它連結列。

由左而右依序是：

甲、說明跑馬燈。

乙、版本更新日期。

丙、教育部國語辭典連結。

丁、版權說明。

戊、電子郵件信箱。

三、 操作範例

1. 在文字輸入框中鍵入想要檢索的中文字或音標。

2. 依個人需要在「詞目」、「音讀」、「釋義」、「對應國語」四個條件中擇一而用。以滑鼠在選項文字前的白色圓點點選即可。系統預設為「詞目」。

3. 依個人需要在「精確查詢」、「廣義查詢」二種查詢條件中擇一而用。以滑鼠在選項文字前的白色圓點點選即可。系統預設為「精確查詢」。

4. 輸入及設定完畢後，以滑鼠點選「開始搜尋」鈕，即開進行查詢工作。

5. 若資料庫中沒有資料符合查詢條件，將直接顯示「未找到需要的資料」。若查詢出符合條件的資料，即產生查詢結果列表。各部分說明如下：

 

甲、 目前所在的頁次。查詢結果的總頁數端看使用者的設定。若使用者在首頁設定每頁顯示20筆資料，查詢結果共有66筆資料，則總共有4頁的查詢結果。使用者可直接點選所要前往的頁次或填入欲跳頁之頁次，而後按下個人鍵盤的Enter鍵，即可跳頁。

乙、 列表筆數。顯示本次符合查詢條件的資料共有多少筆。

丙、 流水序號。依「先音序後字數」原則排列的序號。

丁、 詞目。查詢結果列表若不只一筆，則排列先後次序以四縣音序為首要排列條件，音標首字a者在b之前，b在c之前，若首字相同則比較第二字，以此類推。若音序條件相同者以詞目字數少者在前，字數多者在後。

戊、 音讀。當滑鼠游標停留在詞目上約一秒鐘，將直顯示本筆詞目之音讀。

6. 在查詢結果列表中以滑鼠點選欲查閱的詞目，則進入本辭典內文部分。在「近義詞」、「反義詞」、「文白讀」、「又音」、「多音字」等欄位還提供相關資料的連結，使用者可相互參酌查閱。

四、 詞目的進階查詢法

以「廣義查詢」為查詢方式的情況下，支援文字的布林運算，這也大大增加了文字查詢的方便性，查詢中所附加之符號一律使用「半形」。各符號說明如下：

1. 「^」符號：輸入「^大」，可找出以「大」字為首的所有詞目。

2. 「$」符號：輸入「大$」，可找出以「大」字為尾的所有詞目。

3. 「+」符號：輸入「大+細」，可找出詞目中包含「大」或「細」字的詞目。

4. 「#」符號：輸入「大#細」，可找出詞目中同時包含「大」「細」二字，且「大」字在「細」字之前的詞目。

5. 「?」符號：以「?」號為萬用字元代替文字。輸入「??好」，可找出「好」在第三個字的三字詞。
